Enterprise and Government
Data is a critical part of every organisation, often the most valuable asset; this same information poses a huge risk when it travels or is transmitted outside of the corporate network. The legal obligations associated with holding client data, or in the case of Government departments, public data, and penalties for failing to protect the same mean that a data loss can not only expose trade secrets but damage your reputation, public confidence and even incur a hefty fine.
Many companies rely on DESlock+ to meet a variety of data protection challenges with a complete solution that is both cost effective and straight-forward to deploy and manage.
DESlock+ allows data to be protected whether on laptop or desktop PCs or removable devices such as USB drives and memory sticks:
DESlock+ full-disk encryption provides both pre-boot authentication and fast, transparent data security. Strong, FIPS 140-2 validated, 256 bit AES encryption prevents endpoints from compromising corporate network security whilst protecting your organisation from the horrors of a lost laptop or other data loss incident. Encrypted hibernation files mean that fast shut-down and reboot won't compromise security.
USB memory and removable drives may be protected with DESlock+ full disk or file-level encryption. Both methods may be enforced as policy and have their encryption keys managed through the DESlock+ Enterprise Server. File level encryption extends beyond the corporate boundary through the DESlock+ Go, on-device encryption software.
DESlock+ delivers fully scalable central management, allowing you total control of software features and settings, matching user settings to your security policy. Large scale encryption deployments need simple and resilient systems to enable fast user recovery so the DESlock+ Enterprise Server takes care of forgotten login credentials and also maintains a backup of all corporate encryption keys. While data stored on removable media remains secure even if the device is lost, there is no risk of data being lost due to forgotten passwords.
