Key Sharing

For maximum security, DESlock+ encryption keys are created within the DESkey USB Token. To maintain this security these keys cannot be copied to disk and are backed up to other Tokens instead.

To facilitate this, each Token can be set up to automatically create backup files for other Tokens. These update files are stored in a backup database.

As a further safeguard against data loss, these files can be automatically sent to pre-assigned email accounts, or saved to a user defined location.
